One of the best ways to restore our hope, peace, joy and love for the Christmas season is through the lives of those who were so closely involved in the story that begins, “This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about” (Matthew 1:18). Mary, Joseph, shepherds and wisemen each bring a unique presence and perspective that the Holy Spirit of Christ uses to help us understand God’s gifts to us in the Advent and Christmas Seasons. Our Advent Candle Lighting and Liturgy celebrates the hope, peace, joy and love of Christ at Christmas.
