Christian generosity is an expression of our gratitude for all God does for us through Jesus Christ. The mission of Christ’s Church to make disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world and across the street could not happen without the generosity of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and without the generosity of the gifts of the people of Christ’s Church. The community of faith is called to share our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service and our witness. We believe your faithful giving is an act of worshiping God.

Pledge Giving to Ortega Church

Pledge gifts to Ortega Church inform church leaders and staff in advance of your anticipated financial support of the church’s ministries and outreach initiatives.  Pledge commitments allow the church to accurately plan for our ministry programing in the coming year.  We invite you to prayerfully consider pledge giving as a sign of your faith and trust in God’s provisions and the work of Christ’s Church.

Endowed Gifts

The Ortega United Methodist Church Permanent Endowment Fund provides the opportunity to make charitable gifts and bequests to Ortega Church to be invested and held in perpetuity. The income generated by the Endowment Fund directly benefits the Ortega Church programs and ministries that are not typically funded through the annual operating budget.

Gifts may be in memory of or in honor of family and friends. Contributions may be made as Outright Gifts of cash, securities, real property, personal property, or by Planned Gifts made through your will, insurance policies or from retirement plans.

The Endowment Legacy Tree located in the Narthex of the Sanctuary, recognizes gifts of $1000 or more to the Endowment Fund. Scholarships

Farris Bryant Leadership Fund

 
Open to pastors, staff and laity within the North East District of The Florida United Methodist Conference, the Farris Bryant Leadership Fund supports the furthering of Christian leadership skills through advanced course-work, training or continuing educational experiences for personal development and growth as Christian leaders of the Church.

Terry Scholarship Fund

The Terry Scholarship Fund provides higher education assistance to individuals called to ordained ministry or those who seek to serve outside of a pastoral appointment and is open to Methodist church members of the North East District of the Florida Annual Conference. Opportunities may include but are not limited to the pursuit of ordained ministry, youth and music ministry, mission studies and Christian education.
