SUNDAY MINISTRY TEAMS
GREETING TEAM
Smiling faces and welcoming hearts receive members and guests to our Sunday worship environment. Serve as a greeter or Welcome Center host to assist and guide guests to worship and other Sunday on-campus ministries.
MUSIC MINISTRY TEAM
Explore the ways you can use your musical gifts to worship God and serve Christ’s Church:
The Ortega Praise Team serves our Contemporary Worship expression with auditioned instrumentalists and vocalists. The Praise Team leads congregational singing and performs music selections for our Sunday worship experience, as well as other special seasonal services.
USHER MINISTRY TEAM
Serve as an usher at either our Contemporary or Traditional Worship services as part of our welcome to worshippers, collection of offerings and attentive guidance and assistance through our worship services.
COMMUNION MINISTRY TEAM
Share in this sacred service to prepare the altar table and elements of bread and juice as Ortega Church celebrates the Sacrament of Holy Communion. This gift of God’s grace is served the first Sunday of each month and other special services by rotating ministry teams.
ORTEGA KIDS MINISTRY TEAM
Join the ministry team who cares for and guides our children through worship and small group gatherings each Sunday morning. Rotational opportunities are offered for those serving in this vital ministry.
ORTEGA YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM
Assists our Youth Director in our ministry to middle and high school students to grow faith through worship, Student Life Groups, and gatherings for activities, outings and outreach.
TECH MINISTRY TEAM (Audio/Visual)
Lights. Camera. Action! The Sunday Morning Worship experience is enhanced by technologies that engage the worshipper with quality imagery and sound. Team members assist with cameras, screen projections, and audio during worship services (no experience necessary).
WEEKDAY MINISTRY TEAMS
ALTAR GUILD TEAM
Prepares the Church Altar, Chancel, and Sanctuary for weekly worship.
RECEPTION MINISTRY TEAM
Prepares for and serves at church events, receptions, and funerals.
ORTEGA KIDS MINISTRY TEAM
Assists our Children’s Director to guide our young students on Wednesday afternoons as they connect with one another, grow in their faith, while learning and participating in service to God and others.

OFFICE VOLUNTEER MINISTRY TEAM
